You can use your GPS to tell you where you display on a paper. Since the cards based on True North, you want to make sure that your GPS will show, True North.
(a) Enter a waypoint, where two lines cross is on the map that you think in your area.
(b) Check your GPS receiver to find the camp and the distance to that waypoint.
(c) Find out what is given by 180 degrees from the camp of the GPS on the Waypoint.For example, can say that says that Waypoint 360 GPSDegrees (north) and 3.5 miles away. Well, if you are at 360 degrees to the north, travel 3.5 miles to reach this waypoint, where you are in relation to the map on the? They are 3.5 miles 180 degrees to the south of the waypoint. Whenever you want to know where you are on the map, pick two lines, which cross each other on the map. Then enter them into the GPS receiver as a waypoint. Then check your GPS to find out where the waypoint is. You are always 180 degrees and the same distance is thatbeen away from that waypoint.
(d) Place protractor on the camp, where the two grid lines crossed, so that the correct measure is 180 degrees with.
() e Place your ruler on the scale of miles shows the map legend. Figure out the distance on the ruler at the track, the GPS given in comparison
(f) Continue Set the ruler of the cross hairs on the protractor and given 180 degrees with the GPS and measure the correct distance with a rulermap to determine your current location on the paper.
